I have been working on my company logo for my website. I made it in photoshop as a psd file.
The problem I am having is when I go to save it as a .gif file.

In photoshop the edges are smooth and nice, but when I save it as a gif, the edges become jagged and very unattractive.

I have tried many different things to correct the egde problem, but with no success.

Does anyone know or have any ideas about how to fix this?

Thank you for the tip, but the black is not the background it will be on. I have no problem if it were on black. The background it is going to be set on is more than one color, so the matte option does not work for me.

Hi there
The trouble with a GIF is a pixel is either transparent or opaque. Have you tried using a PNG-8 or PNG-24? Both support transparency!
