Hi,

I am designing a brochure to go to print and I am using CYMK colour. I have chosen a Blue colour, but it appears purple on the screen. If this is due to the monitor not being able to display CYMK, does that mean that Blue will be printed at the printer?

Thanks!!

Hi there Missjane

Have you calibrated your monitor lately? The CMYK colour space is being represented on your screen by RGB values, this will cause a slight colour shift but not as extreme as the one you mentioned.

Also worth checking through your colour profile settings, making sure everything's ok!

Hope this helps
