I want to make a circular cutout or circular crop on an image. This will then be used in another program that prints the label for a DVD/CD.
I have tried the crop tool but I can not get it to make a circle only ovals or squares.
Thanks |

All images have to be square. You can't have a round image. Make a layer on the top that is all white with a hole cut in it. _________________ Best Regards,

Hi
Thanks for the tip but how do I make sure that the cutout is circular and not an oval?
Thanks |

Oh I see what you're getting at.
Right click on the square selection tool (the upper left most tool) then select the circle selection tool.
Click and drag while holding the shift key.
OR
At the top while the circular selection tool is selected select "Style: Fixed" and set a height an width.
Sorry for beating the word "select" to death... _________________ Best Regards,

Hi
Thanks for your help. Tried it and it worked.
It's easy once you know how. I'm sure there will be many other little gems like this.
Thanks
