I'm trying to make an image printable only in black and Pantone 200 U. The image is already a CMYK. I've gotten as far as adding the Pantone 200 U channel but it just doesn't seem to let me take it to two colors. I did the dualtone thing too, but it seemed a little wonky looking. I'm probably just missing something 'cus I am no PS expert. Any suggestions, tutorial links, etc? I guess I'm just figuring there has got to be a way/better way to do this. I'm used to importing illustrator into PS and vice-versa. I'm also used to doing 2-color jobs in Illustrator. Somehow, in my 2 years working here, this is the first time I've ever had to do a 2-color PS job from scanned in images (that were pen/red sharpie/blue sharpie.......it's supposed to represent notes and doodles in a notebook) I already had the ad published in 4-color earlier this year, but I'm having trouble using that source and turning it into 2-color in PS. I've even tried live trace in Illustrator, taking the PS images and converting them to vector, and then changing it to 2 color, but it doesn't look as good. Any ideas? Sorry, that's kind of a rant......
