hi everyone, im sam.. and totally NEW to photoshop and a little stressed right now.... looming deadline
i have to cut out this girl in this image (clean edges) and be able to save her as just an image alone to use in a invitation i am creating in photoshop for a local charity group....
can anyone advise or help me out with my dilema?

The way I would do it, is use the pen tool to make the girl a selection..Then, ctrl j, will jump her to the next layer..
Save as a psd and insert in the invitation.. _________________ and the wisdom to know the difference... |

thanks so much!! i'll do that ....
will this process give me a transparent background ... i need the image to just be the girl with no white background when i lay it onto the invitation... |
