hi,
i've just installed CS3 and when i right click on an image in a folder and go to 'preview' it opens up photoshop. it should just display the image like it did when i had CS. anyone else had this problem? know a solution? if there is none, does anyone know a good piece of preview software i could use instead?
thanks

Since you don't want the preview in PS, you need to pick a program to preview images?
I find the least involved and fastest on a windows based PC to be "WINDOWS PICTURE AND FAX VIEWER"
Regardless you can set it or any other image program to open the file via:
Right click the image, go down to "OPEN WITH",
"CHOOSE PROGRAM", find WINDOWS PICTURE AND FAX VIEWER, and click Always use the selected program to open this kind of file.
The Jpeg files opened from within PS will still be opened into PS, but when you are viewing pictures in Emails (anything outside PS) the windows picture/fax viewer will kick in.
Hope this helps,
