Hello,

Im newbie at PS, so please bear with me. I am working with an image of my brother biking and I need to extract him aka remove the background. I did this using the path tool, but then I realized that the background was still in tact and not transparent because I didnt make the image a layer before I started editing it. So, now Im wondering how I can delete that background without losing all the extraction work that I have done...

Picture included...

after you cut it out you have to save as a .gif or a .png file. them are the only 2 that supports transparencies
