I am trying to restore a photo(attachment enclosed) The picture is a glossy photo that got wet and when the frame was lifted off it pulled off some pieces of the top layer. I am wondering if there is a easy wasy to restore this. There are some parts i have worked on with the clone tool, but i was wondering if there was an easier way to retouch this. This is a very important photo to one of my good friends, and any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.[/img]

I gave it a quick stab..I evened out the colors on the white jacket by sampling the clean white color and painting the stained white with the brush set to color mode...did the same to the blinds in the back...needs more missed some spots big time oh well..
Got rid of the color caste by using the curve grey eyedropper picked a grey shadow on the pants... added slight unsharpen...
It can use a lot more work but it might get you started..
In stead of cleaning the blinds and background, I'd consider removing you two from the image and placing in a nicer background...food for thought.
