|
|
The current default 'stroke' setting on my PS is 3 pixels/Red...how do I change it?
The stroke setting to which I refer is when I double click a layer and want to surround it with a stroke line of color. I have searched everywhere and can't find where to change the default setting.
Thanks! |

Right at the top where it has the color or your stroke, there is a slider for size..Slide it to 1.. _________________ and the wisdom to know the difference... |

thanks granny, but what I meant was how to set it permanently so that every time I opt for a stroke, it comes up as 1px and black instead of 3px and red...how do you do that? |

I got it! Make a new style with 1 as the setting for the stroke..Make sure you set it on inside or outside or where ever..And set the color too..
But I don't think there is a way to change the default size 3..Just like I haven't been able to change the default of the spacing on the brush tip pallette..Have to make a new brush for that too..
Maybe someone will have another way..I'd like to know too.. _________________ and the wisdom to know the difference... |

thanks. that's what my graphic designer friend said too..he's a real expert and he said to make a style too..
Hard to believe with all the infinite details that PS lets you do that you can't specify certain preferences...maybe in the next version. |

Yeah, even with the best, there is room for improvement! _________________ and the wisdom to know the difference... |
