I made a huge mistake when I began my latest design project. I made it too large. Now, I need some help to decrease the size. Even if the quality of the image will get alot worse. The file is huge so I can't use the "Save for web.." option. So, pleae help me. How do I decrease the the image quality and thus the file size?

Hate the fact I'm a noob at photoshop... Dodgy

Actually the quality of the image will only get worse the larger you increase the size.

Just go to Image > Image size and then change the size of the document, but make sure that Constrain proportions is checked to make sure your proportions will stay the same and your image doesn't get stretched and distorted.

I need to maintain the current size of the design to. When I do that, the design shrinks and that is not the result I`m after. Isn`t there another way?
