Can anyone help me keep the detail on the neck of this dog? I am filling in the background with white, but want to keep the hair intact. Please refer to the photo and thanks in advance.

If you can work on a larger image it would be easier..
Use the extract tool...be ready to fine tune it with the history brush.
But it is due-able..

I have an extract under the filter area. But I don't know what you mean by the extract tool.. I have CS2 with a mac. Please elaborate and thanks for your patience.
