I am trying to make some changes to a graphical text menu on a web site and it looks terrible. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I'm using the same font, size, background etc. Font is Baskerville Old Face, Regular, 14pt Strong on a transparent background but as you can see here the About and Contact link looks horrible. Any suggestions? I am stumped!

can't really tell you but if you copy and paste it's strange the rest copy white and the CONTACT copies grey..don't know what it means.

Maybe I'll search for a tutorial on how to make a graphic text link and find something there that I'm doing. I'm sure it is something really easy that I'm missing.

Hmm, well I solved my problem by changing the file to a jpg rather than a gif. I don't know why it looks better so if someone can tell me that would be great. I thought gifs would be better for small text with not many colors.
