Hello!

I'm quite new to working with pPhotoshop and I have the following problem. I have an image which I would like to print on a t-shirt. I wanted to get rid of the background, so I made the background transparant. However, when I save the image as a JPG image (it has to be a JPG image, the t-shirt printing company doesn't accept other formats), it doesn't save it with a transparent background, but with a white background (see attached picture). But I don't want ANY background to be printed on the t-shirt, I just want the pole with the cameras. :) So my question: is it possible to save ONLY the picture, and not the background, as a JPG format? Or does it always automatically create a white rectangle behind the picture? Hope someone can help me with this, thanks in advance!

Are you sure the white needs to be removed for a T-Shirt. Is it going on a colored T-shirt? I'd talk to the printer.

I would talk to the printer, I'm pretty sure that if it's going to be on a colored t-shirt they could get just the image, and not the white background...however to my knowledge you can only save transparent backgrounds as GIF images, JPG will not do this.

if they are printing it on a t-shirt, they will simply create a path around the image, so you will lose the white background. or at least they should!

as for transparency, use either Tiff, PNG or Gif (i think), or a psd with no background.
