Printing too dark

Posted: Tue Feb 27, 2007 6:48 am Post subject: Printing too dark

I print my photos on an Epson Stylus R 2400. When I use Photoshop CS the photo appears fine on the screen, but when it is printed it is too dark. If I switch the same photo to Epson Creativity Suite the photo that is then printed is the same as the screen. Has anyone any ideas how to combat this.
