Hey Guys,
I am creating a logo in PS. I have redrawn this 1st at 300ppi and now at 600 ppi and then reduced image size to 170x170(from 240x240) Looks okay in PS but when veiwed in browser it looks terrible! i dont know if the higher resolutions really looks better! --the distortion is just different. I've tried making the layers into smart layers--I don't have a CLUE what i'm doing--Please help!
Thanks,
PJ pamijami

Can you post the 300 dpi one, reduced to 600 x 600 at 72dpi. Use the save for web... to keep it under 75k..

I used your 600x600 at 72 dpi as a template to "remake" it. reduced it to 170x170 and "save for web"..max.
I ran it through a test site and it looked fine...
Does it on yours?
You know you should be making it in illustrator..(any vector program for that matter)....Sizing becomes a non-issue.

I appreciate the help Lasa, I did find the problem to be a setting in my flash program which was causing the distortion. I do have Illustrator but really havent used it. i guess I need to learn!
Thanks again
