I made my picture and now when I try and enter text the whole picture turns a faded out red color. Its like it has a red filter over it.
When Im done typing my text and click onto the paintbrush or something else the red goes away and my text has the lasso look around it and its always a different color then I pick in the text color chooser.
I can click the text color button at the top of my screen. It allows me to pick a color but it always goes back to the gray box when I click select.
Although the color isnt always gray when I write something in text.
Anyone have any idea?

sounds like you ave selected one of the type masking tools. hold down the mouse button when selecting the type tool, you should see about 4 different options appear, then select the furthest left!
