Hello,

I'm looking to get Photoshop CS2 and I've found a site ( http://www.priceslashsoftware.com/productdetail/Adobe/Photoshop_CS2/35 ) that offers a download version of it for relatively very little. Now, they say that they can offer it for this price as they don't include manuals and packaging or tech support etc, but it just seems a little too good to be true, considering that to get it direct from Adobe costs about $800.

Does anyone know if this is legitimate? The site seems professional enough, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything these days...

Any help would be much appreciated.

Sorry, Photoshop CS2 costs about 800 euro from Adobe, not 800 dollars...the point remains the same though...

I've never seen this on a legitimate software much less an Adobe product...
FAQ: "Why can't I register my product?
Our software cannot be registered. The software we issue is for installation and operation only.

I wouldn't give my credit card number to them for love nor money.

If you are a student or a teacher you can get some great deals...

Hello,

Welcome. This seems like a legitimate question, so I don't want to remove the thread, but it's not really a topic for much discussion. As lasa said, if they place what seem to be strange restrictions on you or the software... that's a big warning sign. The old adage, if it seems too good to be true it probably is, is generally pretty accurate.

Thanks.
