heyya what im trying to do is edit the alpha chanel for a perticuler layer. can anyone run me through how to do it?

i dunno if its possible, for RGB mode at least its not registered in as a channel, but i havnt experimented with other chanels.

alternatively, can someone tell me how to get rid of the the half blended pixels.. i dunno what to call them.

flood fill a background layer with red
new layer
draw with circular marquee tool, then flood fill that with black..

now if you zoom right in (to pixel level) around the edge of the black circle, then hide/unhide the background layer. you'll be able to see the semi transparent pixels... i want rid of them.

so my plan was to pump up the contrast on the alpha channel, but if theirs an alternat method to this. please tell me

thanks alot
