Is there any way to open multiple files in Photoshop and execute an adjustment, such as Unsharp Mask, and have all the open files reflect that adjustment? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You should read up on Actions. Its one of the tabs, usually under Layers. Open all the images, select one, hit record, do the action, and hit stop record. Close the first image if you like it, select the next one and play that action.
