|

Hello all, I've been using Paint Shop Pro for the last couple years to edit digital photos. I now have CS2 as of yesterday and a couple of questions.
Lets say I'm in Paint Shop Pro and I have an image I've made ten edits to. At any point I can go back to a previous edit (for example edit 4) and highlight it in the history palette and with one click cancel that one edit. All edits before and after remain the same, however the program places a red "X" next to edit 4 and then presents the photo as if edit 4 never happened. I can continue making edits to the shot and at any time in the future highlight edit 4 and click redo and bring that edit back. In PS I've fooled around with the history brush and changed my history palette default to include "allow non-linear history" but neither have the same result like PSP. How do I accomplish this in PS?
Second question, when I right click on an image and copy it I expect to be able to go to PS and do a right click and paste it as a new image as I do in PSP. I know I can download the image and then find it on my hard drive and open it. Is there a change I can make in PS that will allow me to do a right click and paste what I have on the clipboard? |

Right click copy..
You can paste it into an existing image file..
but if you want to make a new file, you need to open NEW (present from clipboard default)... Then once opened you can paste it.
