If you really want to fix this problem. Try printing it out, and changing the brightness/contrast on your computer to match the printed out copy. Make that into an action. and see if it works for all pictures. Then you can just use taht action to preview what it would look like. I have had this idea for a while but never applied it. I'm not 100% sure if it would work. but if you have the time im sure it will be worth the work.

If it works out good, please post it Big Grin

I think you mean to print say, a website for example. If this is correct, hitting PRINT won't work because it will print beyond what is shown exactly on the screen. To do this you could just hit your PrtScr (print screen) button, open up PAINT and hit paste. Then print that image. It is pretty basic and old school, but I still use it on occasion.

Oh, and if you have a newer keyboard that has PrntScr on the F Keys, make sure you don't have F-Lock on!! I spent hours trying to figure out what was wrong once!

Oops, I misunderstood you! Sorry!

I have heard good things about a Spyder for screen calibration. For around $220 it seems it could be a nice tool to have.

A bit pricey but this is the newest of the system I have. Looks like its gone up a bit in price. But this works with both screen & printer calibration. As well as digital camera calibration (which I dont have).
