Ok, there's 1024mb in a gb. If I have 450 gb, that's equal to 460800 mb (right?). So, how many 6.5 mb images can I store on/in 450 gb's? I came up with 70,892 and some change. Is this right? If not then what's the correct formula? (I used 450x1024/6.5).
Where's cbadland? He's gonna love all these math questions!!! oh, you're giving a headache so early.. where's my second cup of coffee??
Yeah, that's how I would figure it. Now some computer savy people might let us know how much free space on your storage drive is needed for it to function. I guess you couldn't fill it all up with images. Or maybe you can?
I'll give you a hint: Do like I do and start off with BIG cup of coffee first thing. I use a big travel mug (Patriots mug!) and it holds 2 regular cups of coffee. Makes the morning go a little easier.
As for the storage, I believe this drive we can fill up completely. Reason being is that it's a server, and the OS is on a seperate computer that runs the drives that are used for storage, so there is no OS on the drives themselves as they are storage drives.
I figured that I had that one right, but wanted a "second opinion". _________________ All gave some, some gave all.....Lest we forget that war produces veterans, wounded both mentally and physically, and it is our job to help them now, as they have already helped us all in ways we will never know, and in ways that we take for granted every day.
