I first had a Canon S820 that started acting up and printing really crappy photos even thouhg they were five megapixel pictures, but i would like print crappy with missing lines of ink and stuff on certain papars even tough I got the paper made for it. Now I have a BRAND NEW Epson R220 that prints good 80% of the time but the other 20% it completely ruins the pictures just like the Canon. I can' figure it out either because they're now 7 megapixel pictures and it is 5760x1440 DPI. I make sure to brighten for adjustments and everything BUT THE STUPID THING WON'T PRINT IT HOW I WANT IT ON THE PAPER THAT'S MADE FOR THAT PRINTER. I CAN'T FIGURE IT OUT. TECHNOLOGY SUCKS. _________________ Andrew M. Hainen

HP makes some pretty good photo printers. I never had a problem with mine. _________________ Best Regards,

Yes I never had a problem with mine either (except ink cartridge prices!) have you tried a cleaning cycle? some printers recomend this, especially if it hasn't been used for a while. Wayne |

One day, I tried to print something on my HP printer. It started screeching like mad. It was so loud it scared my thought process right out of my skull. I panicked. At first I didn't even think it was even the printer, I didn't htink a printer could make a noise that loud. I canceled the job, didn't help. I pressed the off button, didn't help. I unplugged the usb, didn't help. Unplugged it from the wall, helped. Turned out some rubber drive belt had slipped off and was making this hellish noise. I'd had the printer for maybe 2 months, and printed maybe 5 pages of stuff. _________________ brush your hair and comb your teeth |
