can anyone tell me how to create the grid that has been made in this background?? i've been at it for awhile and i can't figure it out
any help is appreciated

yeah just make an image make a square and define it as a pattern

Make your canvas square, say 8px x 8px and then draw along the lefthand side and topmost edges in a 1 or 2 pixel pencil.
Then define your pattern
