I am wondering if anyone can give me some feedback on graphics tablets.

I have been looking around, but what I am missing from all this, is some user feedback.

What i am looking at buying is an Intuos2 6x8

Anyone use them ?

your thoughts (good/bad)

Which brand ?

Regards

Newer/older

Were you pleased with it ?

( perhaps not as you don't use it. lol )

I was told by a reputable individual that it would

revolutionize the way I did graphics.

Kinda got me a thinkin. |

UC logic super pen, nothing fancy, and yes I am pleased with it, its good for detailed work obviously, but I just dont do that much detailed work since I got it, I am sure I will get into it at some point though. _________________ "Bugger destiny" said Nanny Ogg " lets go out and curse someone!!"

I find them really handy when you need to do a selection path around a complex object. Also good for the odd airbrush flourish if you spend the time setting up the opacity/pressure/tilt settings.

I've only ever used Wacom. |

Have a Wacom 4x5, myself. Should have gotten a 6x8. It takes some getting used to, but it does come in handy when making selections or sketching, or when you're doing fine-detail work. |

Wacom tablets are the absolute best, and by a wide margin, but the price reflects that.

I have an Aiptek writing tablet and it does everything i want it to do, plus it's friggin' huge. Paid $150 for it.

I must admit though, i don't use it as much as i would like. I have a tendency to pile things on it. |
