I am making a new theme for phpBB and I need some help with my logo. Here is part of the design.
Design
The problem I am having is with the text. Right now what is there is just regular text but I want to make that an image. I need the backgound of the text image to be transparent becuase depending on what your screen size is the backgound where the text is will change. Everytime I try to make an image with the text and a transparent backgound the text is always very choppy around the backgound. Can anyone help me make smooth text, no matter the background. Thanks for your time.

use a mask colour to match the background when you save the trsparent gif will help. ( in this case black or dark blue)

Alternatively, you could use an alpha blended 24 bit PNG, but then IE/Windows can't understand PNGs halfway decently. |
