first of all im brand new to this forum. i think i am going to order Wacom's Cintiq 21UX. i really like it alot...

i have an old honda that im restoring. so i drew a sort of cartoon, concept of it just for fun. today i wanted to make it a little more 3d but still keep the cartoon look. i spent a good amout of time on the shadows and making all windows and everything. i know the perspective is a little off and the back wheel looks a little video gameish but i think its kinda cool. my facorite thing about the picture is the reflecting of a man taking a picture, right in front of the front wheel. almost like this picture was taken by him.. anyway what do you think i could do to make is better. thanks

i dont understand. i agree the paint job looks a little funky. sorta dull, but shiny at the same time. i think maybe i need to exagerate the highlights in the paint a little more or somthing. thanks though

if it is supposed to have a cartoon look, it should really have a cartoon background. The real background makes the car image look really out of place.

It doesn't even look like a totalled car.

P.S. your drawing is very good

I'm using CS - but for everyone talking about the shine needing an increase etc etc, i think you could get the desired effect using Plastic Wrap (if the other versions have it).Just fiddle with it and see what you get.

well i thought about the cartoon background but i like this better. the out of placeness is what i had in mind. the the only real car parts in the image are the windowns and wheels.. the other stuff is pics of diferent things.
