This is my first post on this forum, so greetings to everyone.

I really need help to get rid of the underarm sweat mark on this photo in order to use it on a web site. I have tried zooming in at very close levels and copying colors from the shirt, then brushing over the obtrusive sweat mark, but it appears real "blocky" and is totally obvious.

I use Photoshop CS4 and Lighhtroom 2 for working with photos; exposure adjustment, resizing, etc., but I am a real novice at these manual "touch-up" procedures. Any help will be very appreciated; direct instructions, a link to a tutorial, or even another post on the same subject.

I have both the original RAW file and HQ jpeg to work with.

Thanks in advance,

Mark A.

Will this do? if so then all I did was use the "Healing Brush Tool", with a small brush and went over the problem part many time's, in all it took me 1 min to do, so it shouldn't take you a long time to do just remember "Ctrl+Z" to undo if you mess up abit. Big Grin

Better than crtl-Z, make a new blank layer and set the healing tool (sample) to all layers. All the changes will only be on the new layer.

Nice job, guys. :) Welcome to manderson. Are you a music producer?

Patrick

Sorry I didn't respond sooner, but I've just been very busy.

First, thanks a million to KRF, this is a photo I really want to use. I will read more about the healing tool and learn to do this myself as soon as I have time.

Patrick - To answer your question; I've been very involved with this group and the production of the CD. We are back in the studio next week. I am doing all of the photography and the web site. Being a musician myself (drummer, conga player and percussionist), it makes me feel proud that they call me "part of the band" even though I'm not on any of the recordings for this CD. The artist and composer in the photo is Bill Boublitz. We go back a long way and he is an outstanding keyboard player and composer; even more a very good friend. All music on the CD are his original compositions.

Keep an eye on the web site: www.boublitzmusic.com

It will be growing. I will be adding some sample audio clips soon on the Current Activity page, and also Ecommerce so we can market the music ourselves through individual downloads or online purchase of the CD, with an anticipated release date sometime in September.

This is a great forum. Since I've been working heavily with Photoshop recently, I am certain I will become an active member, hopefully graduating beyond the beginner section.

KRF - thanks again.

Mark A.
