I am opening photos and trying to save them as psds with different file names, and I have verified that it will overwrite files without asking. I can see the name of the previous file when I paste the Save As name. If I click on the old file first it will ask me, but not if I just paste the name. And if I type "Photo_op" and the old file is Photo_Op, it will take that name instead of keeping the lowercase.
Anyone had this problem? |

hmmm....could it be because you have that current file open & windows cannot overwrite a file that is currently open? |

The problem is it can overwrite. I can overwrite any psd by pasting the name and it wont prompt. I can see the name of the old psd in the drop down when I paste the name, so thats my only warning. Does this on the netowork and my local drive... Only photoshop, and only psds... |
