G5 with Tiger OS. Recently when I open a file in PS I can do one or two things (Convert to cmyk, crop, or resize and adjust contrast, etc. It doesn't seem to matter what I do, just after a few mouse clicks) the app quits.
I trashed the prefs. No better.
Trashed the app, the Setting and the Paths in the User/Library/Prefs, then reinstalled. Same thing.
The only change I made prior to this is I created a printed reference of all my script fonts. To do this with what I have required removing majority of my fonts and adding basically the script fonts. After printing this I replaced my fonts. Had some font issues with firefox and email, but found some duplicate fonts, removed them and things appear to be back to normal. What fonts could cause PS to quit like that? System fonts were not touched to my knowledge.
I'm lost.
