Hi there,
I am a student studying in London, and have recently acquired a copy of Photoshop to use on my mac. I am learning the software as part of my course and so I really need it. It worked fine for about the first six weeks but now will not open.
Whenever I begin to open it the icon bounces on the dock a few times, then closes again.
I have already tried deleting my preferences and then deleting the applications folder and re-install photoshop.
Can anyone think of a way to solve this problem short of re-formatting my HDD and re-installing OSX?

No it was definately not a 30-day trial version. There was no mention of it being at any point during the installation/operation of it.
