I could not duplicate your problem?
I could select and paste over another image in PS.
I was able attach it WORD...use it in Antenna a web building program..all the time is stayed transparent.
How are you copying / pasting it?
What are you doing exactly to add the file over abither image.

All I am doing is right cliking on the image. copy, and then paste it into whatever program I need. The picture just messes up (like in the screenshot I posted), giving black background in transparent areas.
And I'm not pasting it over another image. Either I'm pasintg it on a white background in photoshop, or I am pasting it into a document in word (also with a white background) |

If you open it in PS and select all / copy and then paste into another open file will it work?
Can you import the gif into WORD? (not copy paste)

I have tried inporting the file (not copy and paste) and it worked! The colours weren't all messed up and the image was preserved. Thank you for all the help.
One more thing though. Does this weirdness indicate that my copy and paste function is messed up or something? I would like to be able to paste images, not import them every time, as this would be A LOT faster. |
