Hi,
I have a mac book pro and was messing around with my new Canon xsi when i noticed something kinda weird.
First off I should note that I have an extra monitor connected to my MBP.
So I was processing a RAW image on the mac books monitor and it was looking great.
When I click open image it opened on the other monitor and the colors seemed muted...
Now heres the weird part.......when I click and bring the image to the MBP monitor the colors remain muted.......until I let got of the mouse button. Then they return back to vibrant colors. When I click and drag on the window and drag it from the MBP monitor back to my external monitor, the colors remian vibrant until I let go of the mouse button. Then they become muted again.
This happens with any photoshop file i open but i have never noticed it.
It seems like there is something goin on with how photoshop displays colors for different monitors and that it applies these changes when I let go of the mouse button.
Any ideas as to why this is happening and how to fix it?
I took a screen shot of before I let go of the mouse button (picture 1) and after picture (2).

The issue isnt the monitor, but photoshop is actually changing the colors when i let go of the mouse button.
If it were the monitor as I drag the window to the second screen the color would change as the window entered the screen, but it doesnt. It only changes when I let go of the mouse button (let go of dragging the window). Thats what I find so weird about it. |
