I have a layer problem, or a paint bucket problem. I'm using CS
Unselected layers are creating parameters (or some sort of masking issue) on the selected layer. For an example. When I paint bucket a layer it will paint everything except where a rasterized font from an above layer is displayed. When you hide the rasterized above layer you will find the below painted layer had not painted where the font had layed. The two layers are not linked but somehow are effecting each other.
This problem all of a sudden started to happen. Like I had accidentally clicked some sort of option. |

Are you trying to paint a specific area? |

I'm just trying to color the whole layer. But once again, where the above layers are present it won't paint those area's, although they are in their own separate layer. |

Are they locked? (unlocked)
Is it a smart object? (double click on the SO to open it)
Have you try making a selection and painting inside that selection? |

If I select the layer I'm trying to paint and keep the above rasterized font visible, my selection will take into effect the visible layer above and not paint where the text is.
The layers are not locked or SO. |
