Jumping between photoshop cs2 and Image ready cs2

I am working on an image in Photoshop cs2 and when I want to jump to image ready cs2 and add some roll over buttons it completely changes the layout. It appears to randomly move my layers around. I just got cs2 not too long ago and I was previously using PS7. It seemed to be a smoother interchange between PS7 and that version of IR. Can somebody shed some light on this?

The Extension 'zip' was deactivated by an board admin, therefore this Attachment is not displayed.
