Thank you all for your praise and suggestions, but I'm a bit befuddled by the fact that some (all?) of you can't see the image for my second post.

The main reason I can think of that might have caused it to go wrong is that they both have the same filename, which might mess up the server. But then, why can I see both of them, but not anyone else?

www.imageshack.com has free uploading (up to a meg, though it doesn't support .psd's)

Okay, I noticed that jpegs can be RGB or CMYK, and if you Save As... a CMYK Photoshop document as a jpeg, it'll be a CMYK jpeg, which seems to cause problems on some computers and (apparently) this site. Changing the mode to RGB before saving as a jpeg fixed the problem.
