Can I change image edges to look torn or have a different look to them, for instance, instead of being normally pointed, can I make a curve to them?

Hi there,

Making edges curved instead of the standard rectangle shape is fairly easy.

1. Select the Elliptical Marquee Tool

2. Select a corner like so:

3. Press Shift+Ctrl+I to invert the selection. This will keep the curve smooth when you carry out the next step.

4. With the eraser tool selected, delete the area you don't want:

5. Ctrl+D to deselect everything. Should now be curved. Repeat this with the other corners.

If you save the image as jpg, png, or whatever once adding the round corners, and load that in InDesign, it shouldn't change back to pointed corners.
