I have an image of a t-shirt and I want to fill only the background in green. How can I do this??
I tried edit>fill then selecting a colour and this fills over the tshirt image. I tried creating a new layer, filling it in green, and then dragging it bneath the t-shir timage but then bno green is seen as the t-shirt has white space filling the rest of the canvas. How can I just fill the white space surrounding the shirt in green ???
Thanks |

if its just a green shirt with like a single colored background. then you can just use the magnetic lasso tool to outline the shirt then go to select==>inverse then choose to fill the selection green and bingo your background is what color you want it to be. |

it depends on what you are looking at...i
you can make a selection of what you want painted, once selected you can fill it.
or you can cut out what you don't want painted the simply pait a lower layer in green.
It depends on the image itself. if you post an example somebody here will be able to help you.
