Hi I am looking forward to reading the topics and answers in here. I just seem to NEED to learn more and more.
What I am looking for now is a person who REALLY knows how to build or can tell me what componants I need for a perfect PC for photoshop and graphics.
My days are filled with photography, Photoshop and my regular job of training horses and giving riding lessons to all ages of people.
Can anyone help with my quest?

I do not want to keep to a set price. I would like to know what would be the BEST and go from there.

If you go to a place like Tigerdierct.com, you can find barebones kits that come with at least the case, motherboard, and CPU. Get one of the latest Nvidia boards, latest processors, Intel or AMD, and at least 3 Gigs of ram. I have heard that the new Intel is great for the future CS3, but AMD has always worked well for my homebuilts. Basically, if you have a fast bus, and a lot of ram, you are set.

Photoshop will use up to 3.5 Gigs.

Then you get the latest Nvidia graphics card. You might want to do a seperate search for Graphics cards, but there are two types. One for gaming and one for Graphics. Quadro are for graphics...
