I want 'new bitmap image', not 'new photoshop image'...

when I right-click on the desktop. How??? Why does photoshop assume I want to create their file? Big Grin
I've edited the registry every way possible, and as soon as I restart the computer bitmap is gone and ps image is back.
Any help?

You can set the file type to bitmap when you save it. Just do save as then select bitmap from the drop down list.

yes, but that's not what I'm looking for :)

I want 'bitmap image' to be a choice in my 'create new' dialogue...
