Hey,
I need someone to explain to me step by step how to make the dripping paint effect to alphabets like this image. Thanks in advance

You can do it numerous ways.

- Install a font with drips already embedded.
- Used a 3rd party filter. This costs money (Alien skin / eye candy / nature / drips)
- Use the liquefy filter to create your own drips.

type your words on a layer.

create a new layer (underneath or ontop of the first layer, doesn't matter), then just choose a soft airbrush tool, zoom in close to the fonts, and just draw in the drips yourself. You will have full control over how you want the drips to look.

using filters will just cost you more time and headache IMO. You're gonna have to play around with them forever until you get it right, not to mention actually finding a filter that does this.
