Making rounded corners is very easy yet beginner photosho users might find it hard. I am going to show you exactly how to make rounded corners in CS5. Hope that will help you a lot.
Step 1:
Open an image with CS5.
Step 2:
Choose Rounded rectangle tool or press U and draw a rectangle.
Step 3:
Press ctrl or command on layer’s picture to choose the rectangle.
Step 4:
Now press ctrl or command+J on the original layer’s photo.
Step 5:

Good job, you can also make a rounded corner using the following steps also:-
- Select the whole image by pressing CTRL+A or Select->All from the menu.
- Round the selection by selecting Select->Modiy->Smooth from the menu, a small dialog appears.
- Enter a value, the more the value you enter, the more smooth the edge become.
- Now choose Select->Inverse from the menu, the selection get inverted.
- Make sure the layer(s) you want its edges rounded is selected, then press Delete.

Rounded Corner can be done in the following steps
1) Draw a rounded rectangle
2) Goto Window -> path and select load path as selection in the bottom
3) Goto select -> modify -> border
4) give the border width and fill with desired color.
Rounded corner is ready :-)

Well while we are on ever increasing methods.
Create a new channel fill it with a white rectangle, gaussian blur and use levels to round off the corners.
or
Use a rounded rectangle in the shape options  _________________ If life serves you lemons, make lemonade! |

Or better then:
Create new white layer with black rectangle, add Brightness/Contrast addjustment layer with Contrast set to 100.
Now go to rectangle layer and apply gaussian blur to it. This way you can preview the effect in realtime and choose the right blur raduis. |
