I'm not so sure I understand your want, perhaps more familiarity with both the Pen Tool and the Shape Tools? Not meant to condescend as I am genuinely oblivious in the main.

I use the Pen Tool to create to shape, and after I select Direct Selection Tool, and click in image with the right mouse button, and select the Add Anchor Point. Is done! |
