Hi, well basically, i am making a border, in photoshop, and i am nearly finished, i have made the border with the ellipse tool, and rectangle tool, but i want to make my edges a different colour from my inside ( not sure how to work it ).
I think it would be easier if i sent you a picture of my border, in an attachment.
As you can see from the attachment, the curves on the top left and bottom right, do you know of a way that i can make the colour of the edge of the curve orange, instead of black?

the only way i think to do that would be..... either use the pen tool and just draw it on.
Or you could copy the template and fill it in the colour you want, rub out everything apart from the little arch with the new colour and put it on a new layer above it.

If you select the white area with the magic wand and then do an orange stroke on the outside of your selection on a new layer you should be able to erase the rest of the stroke, leaving the parts around the ellipses intact.
If you want a cooler effect you could draw an elliptical marquee of the same size as the one you have now, fill it with orange and then use another smaller marquee to remove the rest of the color but a small section at the bottom.

or... if you have the border on a seperate layer.. copy layer.. use the transform tool expand it... then erase everything but the parts you want to keep.. make sure to change the border colour to your colour of choice too. hope this helps.

oh when using the transform tool.. remember to hold down shift when manipulating the size.
