how do i touch up this portrait?? airbrush the face, etc

hi guys & girls thanks for your help!!

i recently did a favour and took some photos of a few real estate agents for their business cards. - i have attached a photo for your reference.

i would like to enhance the colours and soften their faces by "airbrushing" them.

does anyone know of any good tips or tutorials on how to do this in photoshop 7 or CS3?

Try www.photoshopsupport.com. They have some free tutorials. Below is a link to a search for "retouching" on their site.
The Healing Brush and Clone tool are the main ones used for retouching. The Healing Brush is used to remove larger blemishes and replace them with a clean sampled skin area. The Clone Tool, when used between 15 and 20% opacity and 0% hardness is great for softening and removing shine. Just sample an area of skin close by, and clone over bumpy or shiny skin. The rule is, only sample clean areas of skin. You may have to do this several times. Good luck!
