How Do I Blend the Background of a Layer?

I'm trying to blend the background of one layer into the background layer.
Here's the picture without the layer I want to blend:

And here's the picture with the layer I want to blend:

I want the background of the pic in the middle to blend in with the gradient background. How could I do this?

Try using different blending modes.

When you paste a pic ontop of a new pic, it goes onto a new layer. With this layer active or highlighted, you can adjust the blending modes and the opacity of the layer....Here's an example below of how to pull the blending modes up....

Also you can repeat the process...copying the same layer and pasting and using different blending modes til you get it to look the way you want.
