Hi. I have a photographic image of one of my paintings which I wish to scan and print. [I no longer have the original]. However the print bears lettering that I incorporated for promotional purposes. This lettering is over the background which is leafy. I wish to 'clone' in the background. Is this a job for the clone tool?
Thanks.

Welcome to the forums. It may be a case that you could use many of PS' tools to aid you. Depending upon which version of Photoshop that you have, depends upon the advice I would give as too does the image.

If you have the latest version of PS you could employ Content Aware Fill, otherwise perhaps more traditional methods.

I have a g4 mac with OS10.3.9 and PS CS1.
Another question:
I am trying to print my original watercolours and am experimenting with the colour correction tools in PS. I have just bought an Epson V500 scanner and am printing on a second-hand Epson 1290. I use mostly curves and have tried Selective Colour tool.E.G. I find it difficult to change a ultramarine blue[warm] to a Windsor blue [cool]. Just decrease red/magenta? But if the reds are right...?!
