I'm working on am image and I'm trying to make the paint look like it was heavily layered on. A prime example of what I mean would be similar to a Peter Max painting.. a lot of his work just looks like heavy blothes of certain colors to create a nice image. Is there any way to recreate this effect in CS6 or Lightroom? I also have a trial subscription to the Topaz Plugins set as well. I'm a newbie to all this but am having an absolute blast with it! Any help regarding this from some of the vets here would be so much appreciated!!

Thank you!!!!

Use bright colors and have well defined edges in your image.
Also try out the 'thick heavy brushes' from the brush presets. I think you will like them.
