I have a picture that I know contains some kind of hidden text. I have read that one can manipulate the colours (levels, hue/saturation?) to make the text appear. Wikipedia says:
"Removing all but the two least significant bits of each color component produces an almost completely black image. Making that image 85 times brighter produces the" text in this case. (The link to the quote is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steganography.)
I have absolutely no idea how to do this and would be grateful for some help.

Image > Adjustments > Brightness? Or Levels? (Play around with the sliders)
Uploading the pic will attract more help. |

I have tried to adjust the sliders in all manner of ways, but nothing seems to appear. The picture giving me so much grief can be found here: http://brokenassembly.com/cachemas/twigs.jpg.
I would be ever so grateful for some pointers here.

I couldn't find anything hidden within the levels. You may have been led astray. |
