Hi,
Does anyone know about vector images I downloaded a few free ones from freevectors.net and now i have no idea where to put the eps. or the svg. formats can someone help me im going nuts!

what do you mean where to put them? save em as jpegs perhaps?

so all i have to do is rename them in jpeg format? so they dont go in a folder like brushes,and plugins do?

ah i see what you mean now, erm im not 100% sure but i think u drop them in

Program Files > Adobe > Photoshop CS3 > Presets > Custom Shapes

i think!

u mite be able 2 double click em and it opens PS and installs them automatically like u can with brushes, u can only try i supose.

I'm not sure exactly what type of vector images that you have but in general there are afew ways to bring a vector .eps for example into PS.

1. open them in a vector program such as Illustrator, COPY.
Then open Photoshop> File>new page and simply PASTE.
(copy shortcut is apple C, paste is apple V)

or

2. open Photoshop and File>Open and find that .eps file.
It may take a moment for PS to convert it to raster art.
You will be ask what resolution and size. That will depend on what you are using this for.

Well the outcome is not good the svg and ai formatts will not work at all the eps format didnt show up when i put it in the custom shapes folder,however i got it to open up by double clicking on it...I guess svg and ai formatts wont work in cs2,what do yall think?
